Hi, I'm Gabby Goodwin. I am 14 years old, and I'm from Columbia, South Carolina. I am the CEO of Confidence and the inventor of GaBBY Bows, the American dream is really being able to be free and doing what you love to do, what you have a passion for without, you know, being judged for it, or being judged because of your gender or your skin, your ethnicity, sexuality, anything like that. The state, I wouldn't know if we're all the way there, but, uh, there's definitely some progress, but, uh, you can see that through, you know, uh, activist movements such as BLM (Black Lives Matter) and ALM (Asian Lives Matter), especially right now as they are, you know, many Asians being, you know, discriminated against ever since COVID-19 happened. So, but you see people coming together and being able to, you know, accept everybody for who they are, there is still a lot of work to do, but I'm proud of what we've been able to do last year, especially in all in the light of everything that happened last summer, and also continue to do in 2021.
